This verticality was accomplished by punctuating three white steel frames on the east, north and south facades of the building’s otherwise cool glass skin. But those metal frames, finished in an arresting eye-popping white, will almost certainly become the most visually iconic element on the brilliant architectural composition that is Pears on The Avenue.
