Successful urban centres around the world feature a healthy mix of owned and long-term rental properties. Rental accommodations are essential in attracting new, talented labour streams that contribute to a city’s upward trajectory. In Toronto, quality rental properties are in dramatically short supply. Within the Annex neighbourhood, University of Toronto welcomes nearly 100,000 students annually, amplifying rental market demand. With Annex Flats, our vision is to address this need with personality-rich accommodations ideally suited to the area’s student and arts/culture populations. We specifically selected an infill opportunity on Dupont to capitalize on the rapidly evolving Dupont Corridor, one of the fastest-growing urban strips in downtown Toronto.
